| New York Rooftops go green ! New York might not be the first thing to come to mind when thinking about greening the city…. However New Yorkers are engaged players in the process of Greening! Mayor Blomberg dreams of greening all the roofs tops in Manhattan. The Bronx has started an ambitious green roof program as well, the first results can be visited by a ‘Green Roof Tour’ held by Kate Shackford. On the tour you will visit six planted roof tops located in the South Bronx. Here follows a foto impression. |
